Deep Cleans come to Church Ward

Recently Reading Borough Council Teams have been out in Church Ward armed with brooms, brushes, dustcarts, graffiti cleaning equipment and hedgecutters.  This has been to give your roads a deep clean as part of a new initiative called ‘Love Clean Reading.’  Roads completed include Foxhays Road, Holberton Road and parts of Northumberland Avenue.  Roads that will receive a Deep clean in the next month include Linden Road and the top of Blagdon Road.

Work included street sweeping, verge edging, gulley emptying, weeding, tree pruning and clearing vegetation. Residents and local businesses also have the opportunity to feedback to get their views on how effective the work was. If a deep clean has taken place on your street recently let us know what you think and fill in the form below.

The work being carried out by the Council as part of the Love Clean Reading initiative is in addition to the Council’s regular street cleaning and maintenance programme.  Your Labour team in Church committed to improving the environment in your ward.
